Cookie policy
Which cookies and browser storage this website uses, and how you decide about them.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also store information in your browser’s local storage or session storage. Below, “cookies” covers all of these.
2. What we use
Necessary
We set no necessary cookies. We store two settings in your browser’s local storage, so the website works as you expect. They are never sent to us or to anyone else:
| Name | Purpose | Storage | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent |
Remembers your cookie choice | Local storage | 12 months |
i18nextLng |
Remembers the language you chose | Local storage | Until you delete it |
Statistics (only with your consent)
If you accept statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to see how the website is used. These items are only stored after you consent:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Storage | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart with a random identifier | Cookie | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> |
Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | Cookie | 2 years |
pendingDonation |
This website | Remembers the donation you selected on the way to Stripe, so the thank-you page can report it to Analytics | Session storage | Until the thank-you page is shown or the tab is closed, at most 2 hours |
More information: how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Marketing
We use no advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies.
3. Content from other services
Some parts of the website come from other services, which may set their own cookies under their own rules:
- YouTube videos are only loaded when you press play, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). From then on, YouTube may store data in your browser.
- The map of our delivery locations is embedded from Google My Maps; Google may set cookies for it.
- Card donations take place on Stripe’s payment pages, where Stripe’s own cookies apply.
4. Your consent
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept statistics cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of its cookies are stored. Rejecting is just as easy as accepting, and the website works fully either way. Advertising features stay off even after you accept.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button on this page or at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we start using new kinds of cookies.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you delete your browser data, the banner will ask for your choice again.
6. More information
How we process personal data, and your rights, are described in our privacy policy. Questions: hatartalansegitsegalapitvany@gmail.com.
